Beginner's Mind

Calling all dancers! Let's beat the heat and get on the dance floor this summer! We have an exciting variety of new classes this summer specifically designed for the beginner. No experience necessary! If you have always wanted to try pointe, tap, heels or burlesque, now is the time!
Our Adult Summer Series classes are designed for students aged 13+.
(except for Heels and burlesque, 18+)
We DO recommend some ballet experience before stepping into our Beginner Pointe class.
$20/Drop in
$150 for a 10 class card

About Us
Tybee Ballet Theatre is a dance education studio functioning under the non-profit organization, The Tybee Arts Association. We’ve been helping Tybee Island stay educated in the performing arts since opening our doors in 2021.
Under the Artistic Direction of Kate Petit and Britt Bacon, TBT was born with a wealth of knowledge in teaching and performing various dance styles and disciplines. We strive to offer high quality instruction in a professional environment for youth and adults alike, regardless of previous experience or financial status. TBT offers equal opportunities and student scholarships for all interested and committed dancers. We have a passion for the art of movement and for helping others discover their inner dancer. All ages and abilities welcome and encouraged!
